Bloggy Style

My new background from Shabby Blogs
Taking time today to add some style to my blog. I love all the great backgrounds, buttons and blinkies from Shabby Blogs (http://shabbyblogs.com). They have so many designs to choose from and they are all FREE and so easy to use!!! I've chosen the whimsical "Fairy Forest" background. Now, I want to add some buttons and blinkies to my sidebar.

On more technical note, does anyone know how to get rid of or at least change the color of the grey footer at the bottom of my blog? It's part of the Blogger Picture Window Template. I like the template otherwise, but the grey doesn't really go with Fairy Forest Background. If you can help, please leave me a comment! 2/363

Update 6/23/11:
Jody Lee from Gypsy Lou Vintage pointed me in the right direction. I was able to remove the grey footer that use to be at the bottom of my blog with these clear and easy instructions found at Blogaholic Designs: How to remove the grey footer bar from the “Picture Window” template. Thank you to both Jody from Gypsy Lou Vintage and to Emily from Blogaholic Designs!

  1. I have just started a new blog design and have exactly the same problem. That grey is a terrible clash with the stunning shabby blog background designs!

  3. I love the background, Shabby blogs are awesome! But how do I get the background to be the whole page? I have a huge pink banner across the top...

  4. Hi BEC! Congratulations on your new blog! On the blogger dashboard, you should be able to go to Design -> Template Designer -> Advanced -> Backgrounds -> from there you should be able to change all of the backgrounds to "transparent".
